What is Anarchism?
Anarchism is a political phiolosiphy and movement
that advocates for the abolition of all governmental and heirarchial institutions.
Traditionally, Anarchism has been a left-wing movement, focused on anti-capitalism and
socialist ideas.

Proudhon
Pierre-Joseph Proudhon was a french anarchist, and is considered the 'father of anarchism' as he was the first to refer to himself as an 'anarchist' He pursed values of individualism, claiming that "Property is theft"
Bakunin
Mikhail Bakunin was known as a russian anarchist and revolutionist, he is one of the most influential figures of the ideology and a major influence in the idea of 'social' and 'collectivist' anarchism
Godwin

William Godwin was an english writer and philosophical anarchist. His main ideas were challenging of the traditional institutional systems like marriage and property. He critiqued in favor of personal autonomy and freedon.

Emma Goldman was a russian-american anarchist most known for her incorporation of feminism into her anarchism. Particulary in marriage, stating that "The institution of marriage makes a parasite of woman"
